The Montafon region offers the opportunity to use a large number of summer mountain railways for adventures in the Vorarlberg Alps.
Aktivpark Montafon
In Vorarlberg's largest indoor and outdoor sports recreation park you can enjoy many attractions. Free admission to the adventure park with many attractions, reduced admission to mini-golf and reduced admission to the outdoor pool.
Summer climbing
You can do it outside or inside, on low walls and high peaks, on long ridges and vertical walls, guided by a mountain guide or on your own – climbing is a sport with endless facets. In the Montafon, there are more climbing opportunities than almost anywhere else: 13 via Ferrata, 7 climbing gardens, 2 climbing halls, 1 climbing park. The feeling of having made it up on your own is the reward for all your exertions.
Silvretta High Alpine Road
As one of the most beautiful panorama roads of the Alps with spectacular mountain scenery, it is definitely worth an excursion. The Silvretta High Alpine Road leads from Partenen in Montafon from approx. 1,000 m to over 2,000 m (Bielerhöhe) and then down again to Galtür.
Summer tobogganing, high ropes course and flying fox at Golm
Race down the hill in the direction of Vandans in a two-seater sled. In the Golm high ropes course and with the Flying Fox you take off and "fly" over the reservoir. The Golm Mountain is truly the mountain of unlimited experiences.

Paragliding and tandem flights above Montafon
Conquer the skies while paragliding in St. Gallenkirch in Vorarlberg. At an altitude of up to 2,000 meters, you can admire the breathtaking panorama of the Montafon from a bird's eye view. You don't need any previous knowledge for a tandem flight, just some courage.

Of course, your mountain summer in Montafon also includes a barbecue evening on our panoramic terrace. With the extensive view of the mountains, the barbecue specialties taste even better. The barbecue evening is part of Zamangspitze's ¾ board.

- Silvretta Reservoir
At only 10°C it is almost as cold as ice, but one of the most imposing mountain lakes of the Alps in Vorarlberg. It is fed by the water of the Ochsental glacier and lies below the Bielerhöhe at 2,032m above sea level. - Vermunt Reservoir
Surrounded by mountains on three sides, Lake Vermunt looks like a postcard picture and entices you to jump into the cool water. At 1,750m it is situated near the Silvretta High Alpine Road. - Lake Lüner

Every Monday, we organize an exploration tour through the most sporty ski area of Vorarlberg, the Silvretta Montafon. In addition to some technical tips, the ski instructor also advises on where and when to ski on the best slopes.
Ski safari
Explore the unique mountain world of the Silvretta Mountains from Montafon to the Paznaun Valley in one day. The tour is easy to do with an average level of fitness and a safe stem or parallel turn. No touring equipment is required.
